Countdown to­_­ Breeders’ Cup: 8 Days!

Can you believe it? Just over a week remains until the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. I, for one, am excited beyond belief! This is likely my final Breeders’ Cup Divisional Rankings post of 2012, though that does not mean my selections are finalized in this post. I look forward to sharing with you all my experience at the Breeders’ Cup next week!

There are only a few changes to this week’s divisional rankings, as the amount of prep races for the Breeders’ Cup is abridging as the event grows closer. However, the racing at Keeneland and Woodbine this past weekend did have an effect on a handful of divisions.

Countdown to­_­ Breeders’ Cup: 24 Days!

Yet another spectacular weekend of racing has passed! Some of the greatest stars in the sport put on a great show this weekend, further endorsing themselves as top Breeders’ Cup contenders. Not only did several horses solidify their own talent, but the performances of these Thoroughbreds only added to my belief that this Breeders’ Cup will be one to remember!

Countdown to­_­ Breeders’ Cup: 31 Days!

Super Saturday is in the books, as is a terrific Sunday of racing as well! After a spectacular weekend of racing that featured a plethora of grade one races, we now know much more about a large portion of the horses pointing towards the Breeders’ Cup. While some divisions were shaken up, some, such as the Ladies’ Classic, became even more competitive. If only the Ladies’ Classic were to be run on Breeders’ Cup Saturday!
